We strive to create products and manufacturing processes that will reduce our carbon footprint and create a more sustainable world.

At Essel we are not only concerned with providing an exceptional standard and quality service for our customers as we are also taking conscious steps to protect our planet. Reducing our carbon footprint is one of our core business philosophies and strategies. We continue to successfully leverage our talent and capabilities to achieve our vision of transforming and promoting a healthier and more sustainable world around us.

We are focused on creating products and conducting manufacturing processes which provides environmental, social and economic benefits while protecting public health and environment over the whole life cycle, from the extraction of raw materials until the final disposal.

Essel is committed to continuing to make environmentally friendly upgrades inside our plant and to our manufacturing procedures. Our warehouse is equipped with state-of-the-art motion detecting lights to manage usage and our production areas and offices have LED lights to manage energy costs. All of our scrap material is recycled or regrinded to be used again in another form.

Essel has created an innovative program that not only cuts down on the amount of materials used during production, but it also saves our customers money. The Pack-Out Recycling Program consists of reusing our finished goods shipping boxes. Customers return the boxes to our plant where they are stored and inventoried in our advanced packing warehouse. This unique program reduces our cardboard box consumption by 71% and saves our customers thousands of dollars every year.

We continue to create innovative ways to reclaim our scrap material, reducing our waste production. We achieve this through our parnetership with TerraCycle to help recycle the more difficult waste at our facility level. The partnership programs range from helping to recycle large volumes of our printed scrap, turning them into tote bags which can be found in specialty grocery stores, to providing zero waste consulting.
